Cleanliness 4 Service 5 Food Quality 4 Likelihood 5 1-5 (5 Best!) 4.5 My first visit to Texas Roadhouse in the Metro area, it was dinner for two. I arrived and got a pager and was told about 15-20 minute wait. About 20 minutes later the pager went off. Within minutes our server (K*****) arrived at our table to greet us and take our drink order. She suggestive sold appetizers, but we were just not in the mood for them. Good try! The drinks arrived, and they kept coming. Not ONCE did I have even think about asking for a refill! OH MY GOSH! Such a new experience for me! The food came out, right on time, hot foods hot, cold foods cold. I forgot to ask for no salt/seasoning on my fries, NO PROBLEM, she quickly took them back and almost as fast brought me knew ones. GREAT JOB! There was a manager "touching tables" I was happy to share that our server was a server and not just an order taker. She really didn't miss a beat. It was a mini vacation. 30% tip. Great job! Restrooms were clean, and stocked. Employees were friendly. Food was tasty. We WILL be back very soon.

Can you really go wrong with buckets of peanuts, and fresh-baked rolls slathered in cinnamon butter? (the answer is no btw) Simple, casual, and good food. The steak was cooked well, the steak salad sat a wee bit too long under the heat-lamp (tops of the steak strips were frizzled), and the drinks were cold and filled promptly. I should mention, we were on a time crunch, and embarrassingly got there when they first opened for dinner and were serving a slightly different demographic. No real complaints though. Simple dinner as ordered at a reasonable price, and we were home in time for me to go to work.

Management asked for my address over a month ago to send a coupon. Never received that coupon.. Keep your coupon! I won't be back! Terrible management at the Council Bluffs location.

Don't eat here! They told me they were out of the side I ordered... When the food was brought to the table. Should have told me earlier so we all could be served at the same time. On top of that, they brought me the wrong steak. They offered to bring another but by the time it would be served, everyone else would be done eating. A major disappointment.

We ate here last night. Place was extremely busy, however, seating was orderly and they said 45 minutes when we got the pager and was only 30. Better tban saying 45 and it is 60 or more. Our server, Madison, did a great job, my primerib was excellent and my wifes filet of beef was perfect also. I have had less flavorful prime rib at "boutique" steakhouses. Next time in Onaha area we will be back here.

Absolutely amazing!! Will def be back. The rolls and cinnamon butter is addicting. And my steak and baked potato couldn't be more perfect. I only gave 4 because the manager was not the friendliest. But he did come up to apologize so that made up for it a little bit. I definitely can't wait to find a Texas Roadhouse in New Jersey where I'm from!

I come here yearly with an entourage to attend the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting. Since it's a busy weekend, I come a day early and relax and enjoy rural vacationing. We come here, to enjoy a big steak dinner. Each time, I have gotten the ribeye, and it is delicious. It is loud, with the music blaring, and every 30 minutes, the servers get into a line and do a square dance. Most of them look like they DO NOT enjoy it, but it must have been listed as one of the job duties. Highly recommend to all carnivores, that is, unless you're a PETA type, then just enjoy your plate of peas and brussel sprouts. Call ahead seating is a complete joke here so don't even bother! Plan on coming in on 1/15/14 so that afternoon I call around 2-2:30pm tell them I need to call ahead for 11 adults, 1 high chair, and 1 booster so 13 total the girl that answers the phone tells me to call back at 4:30 or five so right at 4:30 I call, some guy answers and transfers me to the host desk the phone rings rings and rings and then no one is answering so I hang up and called back I tell them the same thing as I did before so when everyone arrives right before out scheduled time I let the hostess know we were all there she asks if an 8 person booth and a 2 person right across from the other one would be ok I said no I told whomever on the phone I had 13 we ended waiting an hour when no one else was waiting and still didn't end up sitting together. 13 people sat at 3 different booths it was horrible and completely ruined the birthday dinner we had planned I will never be going back!!!!!

I really liked the food here. They cooked my steak perfect. I normally order a medium-well. I've been to places where they cook the crap out of it. Not this place. I forgot the name of the dish, but it's the onion that they deep fry. Oh well, we got that and it was so good. Just enough bread on it. The whole meal was good. The part I found most amusing was that fact when it is your birthday, A group of the servers will sing a song and line dance for you. Very entertaining. Place was packed when I went so be prepared to maybe wait for a table. Service was excellent

We had early dinner here recently. Had Haley as our server. Initially she seemed nice. We asked her if we could order off the $8.99 early-dine menu. She said yes. She took a long time to bring our beverages and then she took our order. Our table dined under the assumption Haley would ensure our dinners were rung at the $8.99 price. During our dining, Haley hardly visited our table to check-up on us. When we got our bill, Haley did not do as she promised. Our dinners were at full price. This was pointed out to Haley and she acted annoyed and said she'd she if her manager would honor the discounted dinners. Not only was this a confusing experience, but Haley also got into a conversation with someone at our table and said bad things about men in general. I understood this restaurant is one of those where everyone does whatever they way and they walk around with a T-shirt on the back saying, "I love my Job" which I think is a big JOKE! but I still think there needs to be professionalism and good customer service. Needless to say, we did not get that great customer service experience from Haley.

Food is excellent! If you're still hungry when you leave, it's your own fault. The only fault I've found here is the noise level. It's almost like trying to eat your supper at a concert. It wouldn't be so bad if they mixed up their music selection a bit. Pantera, ZZ top and SRV all hail from Texas too, show them some love.

No special lunch menu but who needs one with prime rib for him and grilled chicken for me. Starter salad has nice toppings and all the extras on the side of you so desire. Service was quick and attentive without hovering.

Really tasty!! But very crowded on a Friday night. I used the call ahead feature an hour before our desired seating time. When we arrived to a full lobby, my party of four was seated within 5 minutes. Impressive! We were greeted by delicious sweet rolls and speedy service. The Cactus Blossom is much like Outback's Blooming Onion. My blended strawberry margarita was way too sour. I ordered the menu's acclaimed ribs. Now I'm no ribs expert, but I thought they were very good. The meat did fall right off the bones! We'll be back for sure.

Service was bad; food was poor and super salty! It started with our server...appetizer showed before drinks, 10-15 minutes later she comes back to retake our orders because she'd accidentally thrown it away. Said she'd send over a manager. A manager did show up right away and was very nice. Then another server come back and asked about our order. Then she came back with yet ANOTHER question about the order. By now, we'd finished our drinks and appetizer. A different manager came over (we're on employee four here, I believe). He said he'd comp our appetizer for us and asked if that was OK. Ummm, NO! We'd been sitting for probably 30-40 minutes at this point. Maybe longer and the place was not busy. I asked for half of the bill to be comped. He agreed though I could tell he wasn't happy about it. We ended up with another server. He was annoying; though by this point I was super annoyed so it may have just been me. Plus I'm sure he was trying to overcompensate for the whole fiasco. Our total bill was $75. They took off $30. That's not half...though I know in Council Bluffs mathematics might not be their strong suit. Honestly, I was most impressed with the initial server. It took guts for her to admit her mistake. She was polite, friendly, not annoying...I wish she would have remained our server. I think our experience would have been much better. The food. Everything, including the baked potatoes, were super salty. I love salt and didn't finish my steak, potato or green beans. Simply not good food. Good steak doesn't need major seasoning. Ick. It was gross. Would I try it again? Maybe. I worked in food service long enough to know mistakes happen. Yet, the food was just bad...

The service was good - a little slow - but it was busy. The margaritas weren't to shabby either. But the food was very mediocre - even for a chain. There is no motivation in the kitchen to put together a decent plate of food - absolutely heartless endeavor. A few minutes away is the Quaker Lube and Steak - the kitchen manager could learn a few lessons from there.

You know what you are getting when you come in to a Texas Roadhouse. Peanuts Fresh bread Damn good steaks This visit was no exception. I ordered up a beer and sat down at the bar for service, since I was running solo. Kyle was the bartender and server. I ordered the 11 ounce sirloin, medium rare, along with green beans and a Caesar salad. Everything came, cooked as requested. The Caesar could have had a little more zing to it, but the steak was cooked as requested, and tasted great. For the beer, I got a Sam Adams Octoberfest off the tap, which was cold and very refreshing. Gad, I needed this. One can only do so many sandwiches in a week.
